Loyola Marymount University
Professor of Finance & Department Chair
College of Business Administration
I am a Professor of Finance at Loyola Marymount University, where I have been a faculty member since 2011. I earned my Ph.D. in Finance from Binghamton University. My research spans capital markets, corporate finance, and public finance, with publications in leading journals including the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Banking and Finance.
Beyond research, I am committed to connecting theory with practice — in the classroom, through executive education, and through public-facing academic work.
Scholarship
My research examines how tax policy, market structure, and information asymmetry shape financial decision-making — in households, corporations, and capital markets.
